Hey, I'm Sean, a product designer with 16+ years of experience.

I'm looking to build with a great team of humans and agents. Ages ago, I was the founding designer at MileIQ (acq. Microsoft), then 10 years at Microsoft where I led a team of 11 for Outlook Mobile and Mac. I make things with my hands and with agents, including apps I've shipped solo like Brukas and Ghostties, with more to come.

I live north of San Francisco with my wife, our two daughters, four and one, and our dog.

How I Work Now

People have been asking what my day-to-day looks like now: friends, some teams I've been talking to. This is a start to that answer. I'm a designer. My practice has shifted substantially in the last six months. For me, Claude Code is at the center of what I'm doing every single day. I love visual tools, but I spend most of my day in a terminal now. The canvas is where I go when the craft demands it.

You keep learning and trying things till you really have to hire someone. I remodeled the whole house that way: kitchen, floors, two bathrooms, a Murphy bed I designed in Shapr3D and built by hand.

Wrap + wrap-continue

Two slash commands for Claude Code context discipline. /wrap is end-of-day heavy capture · commits, Linear, Second Brain, session notes. /wrap-continue is mid-task light capture with a hot-resume pickup prompt, for recycling a thread without ending the work.
